Creeping Thyme is the perfect choice for rock gardens and it also makes an excellent groundcover as well. Many people use it fill in bare spots in the garden, or in between pavers and stepping stones. The attractive green foliage grows quickly, while its pink and purple flowers bloom in the hot Summer months.
Depending on the variety grown, Creeping Thyme will reach a mature height of anywhere between 3 and 12 inches tall. The plants are perennials, which means that they will return yearly from a deeply established root system.
