Borage is not only a delightful flower, but it makes for a tasty garnish as well. Add these edible blooms to salads, or freeze them inside of ice cubes. The leaves are also edible and boast a cucumber like flavor. Each plant will mature to a typical height of about 12 to 24 inches tall.
Borage will attract an array of beneficial insects to the garden, such as butterflies and bumblebees. They are often used in insectaries and butterfly gardens to benefit such insects.
