Coneflowers are beautiful heirloom flowers that produce bright colored petals, surrounding a cone like center. The plants are best established outdoors, directly in the garden, or along borders such as walkways and driveways. The average Coneflower will grow to a mature height of anywhere between 20 and 36 inches tall.
The plants are known to attract all sorts of beneficial insects to the garden, and are often seen in insectaries and butterfly gardens. You might notice Coneflowers are also popularly used in public parks and local Zoos. They go very well with Coreopsis, Columbines and Bee Balms as well.
